Cholita is a handmade pink dog poncho with a hood, made from authentic Mexican fabric and designed for cozy warmth, easy on-and-off wear, and leash-ready walks.
We often make ponchos to order so we don’t waste beautiful fabric on sizes no one ends up needing. If you don’t see your size available, email us at info@owaowaco.com or message us using the black chat icon on the bottom right. If we have the fabric, we can usually make it.

A: Most of our ponchos are made to order to reduce fabric waste. If your size is unavailable, email us at info@owaowaco.com

Q: How long does it take to ship?
A: Because many ponchos are handmade to order, please allow a few business days for production before shipping. During busy seasons or pop-ups, it may take slightly longer. We always craft each piece with care.

A: Yes. Every Owa Owa poncho is hand-cut and sewn in Pacoima, California, using authentic Mexican fabrics sourced from Mexico. No mass production. No factory lines.
Q: Are they warm enough for winter?
A: Ponchos are double-lined with breathable cotton on the outside and a soft fuzzy inner layer for lightweight warmth. They’re perfect for chilly walks without overheating. For very cold climates, layering underneath may be helpful.
