We’re not aware of any medications that this product interferes with, but if your dog is taking prescription drugs or you have concerns, always consult with your veterinarian before use. Liver/Kidney Clean is designed to be gentle, but professional guidance is best for dogs with existing conditions.
How long should I give Liver/Kidney Clean for?
We recommend using Liver/Kidney Clean for 30–60 days and then taking a 30-day break before starting again. This gives your dog’s system time to rest between detox cycles.
How many times a year can I give the cleanse?
It depends on your dog’s lifestyle and exposure. For city dogs, those eating processed food, or pups often exposed to chemicals or lawn treatments, we suggest a quarterly cleanse (about 4 times a year). For dogs on clean diets and living in low-toxin environments, twice a year is usually enough.
Can it be given with Green Rover or Digest?
Yes. All three contain broccoli sprouts, which are rich in sulforaphane — a powerful compound that activates Phase II liver enzymes to help remove heavy metals and environmental toxins. However, because of the extra dose of sprouts, some dogs might experience mild gas at first. If that happens, reduce the Green Rover or Digest amount slightly.
Anything to avoid while doing a cleanse?
